As an artist, I am moved by the power of color to evoke an emotional response. I am also drawn to the drama of light and shadow. My intention as a photographer is to share this vision. When I make a photograph it is not an attempt to capture a realistic image. It is an attempt to use color, light, and shadow to share an emotional experience.
